Our Story

Plant Baby's journey began in 2020 during the lockdown, thanks to my friend Sophie, a former florist with a thriving natural skincare business.

At that time, I was a mother of two boys, a puppy, a few goldfish, and an impressive indoor plant collection. Sophie and I quickly started collaborating and planning, and today, I am also a successful business owner. I specialise in providing living gifts for friends and family across New Zealand, along with a subscription service to help you cultivate your own love of plants.

Our goal is to offer sustainable gifts that endure for years, serving as lasting memories of loved ones and celebrating new friendships.

Our subscription box adds an element of surprise, featuring a different plant each month—because we all love having something exciting to look forward to! We also offer customisable gift boxes for our corporate clients, tailored to fit their specific needs.
