This lovely plant is also known as the Arrowhead Plant or the Red Heart vine. Originally from the forests of Latin America, this plant family boasts many varieties, each with its own unique characteristics. The perfect addition to any indoor plant collector. It typically likes to climb, but can be trained to grow to suit your needs - prune it regularly to keep it compact and bushy, or attach it to a trellis, a stake or a wall to watch her trail and grow.
Light
The syngonium podophylluym family thrive in bright, indirect light, but will tolerate low light levels too. Even though it's quite easy to please, direct sun will burn the soft leaves. Remember to rotate it to ensure even growth.
Water
Rather water less more often than watering more less often! These plants lower leaves will turn brown in overly saturated soil AND dry soil! It likes a bit of humidity of course, so a fine, light misting every so often will definitely perk it up!
Fertiliser
Fertilise your new Syngonium with a very light liquid feed in the warmer months only. A well draining soil will keep the roots healthy!
