Light
The Birds Nest grows well in filtered sunlight with a good amount of shade. No direct sunlight, unless its early morning. The best spot to place your new baby is mostly likely in the bathroom, close to the shower.
Water
Ferns like a consistent amount of soil moisture but also don't want soggy soil. When watering, aim for the soil and not the fronds. Wait till the top inch of soil begins to dry out and then water again.
Fertiliser
Fertilise once a month during spring and summer, ensuring to apply the fertiliser to the soil and not the fronds. Do not fertilise in winter.
